    Rxi-624Sil MS Columns (fused silica)

    midpolarity Crossbond phase

    • Low-bleed, high-thermal stability column—maximum temperatures up to 300–320 °C.
    • Inert—excellent peak shape for a wide range of compounds.
    • Selective—G43 phase highly selective for volatile organics and residual solvents, great choice for USP<467>.
    • Manufactured for column-to-column reproducibility—well suited for validated methods
    Similar Phase(s):

    DB-624, VF-624ms, CP-Select 624 CB

    What do Rxi columns mean to you? Three things:
    • Ultra-low bleed.
    • Exceptional inertness.
    • Reproducible performance, column after column.

    Rxi fused silica capillary GC columns were designed specifically to be the best columns available, for exceptional inertness, ultra-low bleed, and reproducible retention and selectivity. In addition to outstanding performance, this combination of column characteristics assures Rxi columns will have long lifetimes. The Restek chemists also have developed a stable, reproducible manufacturing process, so that Rxi columns will meet your needs every time you install a new column.

    Streamline Your Cannabis GC Analysis Workflow

    The Rxi-624Sil MS column is the best choice for the analysis of residual solvents in cannabis concentrates. Not only can it resolve large lists of residual solvents, it can also withstand the high temperature (300C) needed to elute the terpenes that are transferred to the column with each sample. If terpenes are not baked off the column after each sample, they will show up in later runs as ghost peaks, interfering with quantification.

    Due to its unique selectivity, the Rxi-624Sil MS column can also be used for the analysis of terpenes in cannabis. The streamlines workflow by eliminating the need for time-consuming column changes between analyses.
