    Excel Scientific ThermalSeal RT2RR Sealing Films for Real-Time PCR, Non-Sterile, 100pk

    ThermalSeal RT2 sealing films combine an optically transparent polyester sealing film with a very strong, ultra-smooth, so and highly conformable adhesive.

    Application: qPCR
    Temperature Range: -40°C to +120°C

    Designed for use with standard 96-well plates where rows must be selectively protected or accessed.

    • Certified DNase- & RNase- free
    • Ultra-high optical clarity
    • Features a soft conformable adhesive which forms a very strong seal around raised wells to minimize evaporation and cross-contamination
    • Ideal for use with flat-top and hard-shell dual component (e.g. polycarbonate / polypropylene) PCR plates
    • Available in a smaller cut for raised-rim and non-skirted PCR plates: ThermalSeal RT2RR
    • Not recommended for removal after thermal cycling

    Helpful Tips:

    • Selection of the proper film size will minimize evaporation
    • The film should not overhang or ride up the wall of a raised-rim plate
    • More complete coverage of skirted flat-top plates will reduce evaporation in the outer wells
    • End-tab removal before thermal cycling is highly recommended
