    Application

Diethylaluminum chloride solution can be used:
    • As a Lewis acid for the synthesis of Lewis acid-base bifunctional asymmetric catalysts for cyanosilylation of aldehydes[1] and in Strecker reaction.[2]
    • For the synthesis of precursors for lanthanide/aluminum catalysts for diene polymerization.[3]
    • As a co-initiator in the cationic polymerization of isobutylene.[4]

    Packaging

The 25 mL Sure/Seal bottle is recommended as a single-use bottle. Repeated punctures will likely result in decreased performance of product.
