Dichloromethane has been tested as a solvent medium for the dipyridine-chromium(VI) oxide. Solubility was reported to be 12.5g/100ml.[1] Role of the quantity of TiO2 loading on activated carbon support on its photodecomposition has been investigated.[2]

    Application

Dichloromethane may be used as solvent for the preparation of stock solutions of the carotenoids.[3] It may be employed as solvent in the synthesis of polylactide-based (PLA) thin films.[4]
