    Application

    Chloroform was used in the making of silanized coverslips for DNA combing.[1]
    It may be used as:
    • Extractant in solvent extraction process.[2]
    • A component of the binary mobile phases for liquid chromatography–atmospheric pressure photoionization-mass spectrometry (LC–APPIMS) of triacylglycerol model compounds.[3]
    • Solvent for recrystallization.[4]

    Suitable for HPLC, spectrophotometry, environmental testing
