(6881) Mid-Size Grinding Vial Set
This mid-size Grinding vial has a sample capacity of up to 25mL (1 - 40 g). Stainless steel end plugs and impactor and polycarbonate center cylinder. The set includes one complete grinding vial set and three extra cylinders (6881C4). It requires (6887) Mid-Size Grinding Vial Adapter for grinding in the 6875 Large Freezer/Mill® and the 6875D Large, Dual Freezer/Mill®
Features
- Grinds one sample at a time in the Large Freezer/Mill® when used in conjunction with the 6886 Mid-Size Grinding Vial Adapter.
- Sample grinding capacity 3 grams – 25 grams.
- Ideal for grinding samples such as plant and animal tissue, seeds, polymers, pharmaceuticals, textiles, hair, and bones.
- Withstands liquid nitrogen temperatures.
- Closed grinding vial prevents sample cross-contamination, retains volatiles, and controls hazardous or critical samples.
- Transparent plastic center cylinder allows visual checking of thegrinding progress.
- Stainless steel end plugs and impactor are autoclavable and reusable.
- Polycarbonate center cylinders are disposable or may be cleaned with hot water and detergent or RNase/DNase-free solution.
