DESCRIPTION
Application
Nuclear Fast Red is suitable for the determination of calcium. It is suitable for use in prussian blue staining in neural progenitor cells.[1] It may be employed as highly sensitive "off/on" fluorescent probe for the determination of guanine.[2] Nuclear fast red (2-anthracenesulfonic acid, 4-amino-9,10-dihydro-1,3-dihydroxy-9,10-dioxo-, monosodium salt) may be used as selective complexing agent for the simultaneous determination of copper and bismuth by adsorptive stripping voltammetry.[3]
Used as a biological stain
