    Whatman Syringe Filter, GD/X 25mm, Non-Sterile, 0.2um Pore Size, Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), 150/pk

Whatman is a registered trademark of Cytiva.

Whatman GD/X syringe filters are specifically designed for filtration of viscous or otherwise hard-to-filter samples with high solids content.

    • Glass fiber prefiltration stack for filtering larger sample volumes with less back pressure build-up
    • High loading capacity for samples with high solids content
    • Processes three to seven times more sample volume than filters without prefilter
    • Nonsterile GD/X filters are available in two diameters: 13 mm and 25 mm, and three pore sizes: 0.2 µm, 0.45 µm, and 5 µm

    Syringe filter with integrated prefiltration

Constructed of a polypropylene housing with a prefiltration stack of Whatman GMF 150 (graded density) and GF/F glass microfiber prefilters, GD/X syringes enable exceptional loading capacity with high flow rates for difficult-to-filter samples. This design prevents the buildup of back pressure typically caused by the blocking of an unprotected membrane.

GD/X syringes are suitable for capillary electrophoresis, HPLC, and UV/VIS sample preparation when dealing with viscous or otherwise difficult-to-filter samples with high solids content.
