Payment Terms
Return Policy
Return Requests must be submitted within 30 days of an item's delivery date. Approval is subject to the product supplier's terms and conditions, which may result in some items not being returnable. Items that are generally non-returnable include:
- Products not in original packaging, including products with damaged, missing, or defaced labeling and packaging.
- Custom orders or discontinued products.
- Chemicals, certified reference materials, proficiency tests, and sterile products.
- Products which are not able to be returned to the manufacturer.
- Most temperature sensitive products.
All returns must have prior authorization from Emerald Scientific, and include the assigned RMA number provided. The customer shall be responsible for return shipping fees on returns not due to Emerald Scientific error. A credit or refund will be issued after the item is received and approved by the supplier minus any restocking fee charged by the supplier. Please contact returnrequest@emeraldscientific.com to initiate a Return Request.
Shipping
Please note that hazardous shipping fees will apply to hazardous chemicals, and some standards and biological materials.
Attention
Our shipping providers continue to struggle with staffing challenges. Due to these conditions which Emerald Scientific cannot control, we are unable to guarantee that your shipment will arrive at your preferred delivery time. All reasonable efforts will be made to ensure you are delivered a quality product as promptly as possible. Order delays due to weather, pandemic, catastrophic events, or other acts of nature are not subject to refunds.
Overnight shipping
Please note that Overnight Shipping is required for the stability of many products. Rush shipments are subject to product availability and our supplier’s order processing time. Overnight Shipping does not guarantee you will receive your purchase the next day. If your order is urgent, please contact salessupport@emeraldscientific.com to ensure products are in stock and that we can meet your expectations.
Multiple shipping methods
Various shipping options are offered as a means to save you money. When multiple shipping options are selected, we default to the lowest cost methods recommended by our manufacturers for each item. If there are specific items that you need expedited, it is recommended to place these on a separate order with rush order notes and/or contact our team directly.
LTL Shipping
Due to fluctuating shipping rates, LTL shipping calculations are only estimates. LTL fees will be finalized at the time of shipment and any increase may be billed post-sale. Please note if a lift gate is required for delivery to your location. We recommend that you work directly with your Technical Sales Representative or Sales Support Specialist for completion of any order requiring LTL service.
PLEASE NOTE DAMAGE INSPECTION:
All shipments should be unpacked and inspected for damages promptly upon receipt.
– For freight shipments, damages MUST be documented on the carrier paperwork PRIOR TO SIGNING for delivery. Any damage must be reported to Emerald Scientific within 3 days and include photos.
– For non-freight shipments, damaged or missing items must be reported to Emerald Scientific within 7 days, along with photos.
International Orders
International shipping is available for a number of our brands. A customs broker is required for importing products. Please provide your broker’s information at the time of order to avoid delays. Customers are responsible for any regulations within their country that might prevent importation. Please note the customer is responsible for import duties, taxes, and fees.
