General description
Phosmet is a widely used, broad spectrum insecticide[2], which belongs to the phosphorodithioate subclass of organophosphates[2]. It can find applications in having a control over insects in horticultural crops and ornamental plants.[1] It can be used to control olive fruit fly (Bactrocera oleae, Dacus oleae), which can cause damage to the olive oil trees.[2]
