General description
Heterogeneous ozonolysis of naphthalene adsorbed on XAD-4 resin has been studied using annular denuder technique[1].
Naphthalene is widely used to synthesize naphthylamines, sulfonic acid, synthetic resins, anthranilic and phthalic acids.[2]

Application
Naphthalene was used in liquid-phase exfoliation of graphite in organic solvents for the production of graphene sheets[3]. It was used in preparation of carbon-coated Si70Sn30 nanoparticles[4]. It was used as fluorescent probe to study the aggregation behavior of sodium cholate[5].
