General description
Methiocarb is a broad spectrum N-methylcarbamate pesticide widely used to control snails in orchids and is also a chemical bird repellent in fruit crops.[1][2]
Application
Methiocarb may be used as an analytical reference standard for the estimation of the analyte in fruits, vegetables,[2] food products of animal origin[1] and honey[3] by various chromatography techniques.
