Description
General description
Lufenuron is an insect growth regulator[1] belonging to the benzoylphenylurea class of insecticide.[2] It is used in controlling Ctenocephalides felis (cat flea) in cats.[1][3]
Application
Lufenuron may be used as a reference standard in the determination of lufenuron in wheat flour using gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (GC-MS).[3]
