Logic Class II, Type A2 Biosafety Cabinets (BSCs) offer comprehensive personnel, product and environmental protection from hazardous particulates, including agents requiring BSL 1-4 containment. Ideal for applications involving antineoplastic drugs, genetic material and other hazardous airborne particulates. All models ensure the highest standard of safety and performance, and are NSF-Listed.

Designed for versatility, these BSCs exhaust HEPA-filtered air into the laboratory, or into an exhaust system through the optional Ventus II Canopy Connection. When canopy-connected the Logic BSC can be used for applications involving minute quantities of volatile toxic chemicals and trace amounts of radionuclides.

Room air is drawn into the inlet grille. The air in the plenum beneath the work surface is a mix of unfiltered room air and air that has just passed through the work area. This contaminated air is drawn by the ECM blower through the back plenum of the BSC, where approximately 70% is recirculated back over the work area through the supply HEPA filter, providing an ISO Class 5 work environment. Remaining contaminated air is discharged into the environment through the high-efficiency exhaust HEPA filter.
